FIRST STATE LEVEL SEMINAR REPORT
First Session: First state level seminar was conducted by Department of Urdu, Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata, in collaboration with West Bengal Urdu Academy on 17 August 2022 on the topic “Krishna Chandar Ki Adbi Khidmat”. Inaugural session which was presided by Dr. Aditi Dey, Principal, Shri Shikshayatan College and compered by Irshad Ali (Department of Urdu, Maulana Azad College, Kolkata) was started with lightning of lamp. Inaugural speech was given by Dr. Shaheen Parveen, Dept. of Urdu, Shri Shikshayatan College, Given by Keynote address Dr Shaheen Sultana, Associate Prof, Dept of Aliah University, Kolkata). After tea break, inaugural session was presided over by Dr. Abdul Mannan (Former Professor, Calcutta University) and compered by Dr. Dabir Ahmed (Associate Prof & Head, Post Graduate, Dept of Urdu, Maulana Azad College). During this session, Maqalah (Dissertation) were presented by Dr. Tarannum Mushtaque (HOD, Dept of Urdu,Narasinha Dutta College), Dr. Imtiaz Walid(Dept of Urdu, Calcutta University), Dr. Preeti Singhi (Dept of Hindi, Shri Shikshayatan College) and Dr. Dabir Ahmed. Dr. Shaheen thanked the chair.
Second session: was presided by Dr. Abubakar Jalani (Former Asst.Prof, Kidderpore College, Dept of Urdu) and compared by Dr. Umar Ghazali (Dept of Urdu, Hooghly Mohsin College). In this session Maqalah, (Dissertation) were presented by Dishari Mukherjee (Research Scholar, Guest lecturer Dept of Bengali, Shri Shikshayatan College), Divyani Sharma (Research Scholar & Guest lecturer Dept of English, Shri Shikshayatan College), Dr. Farhat Ara Kahkashan (Department of Urdu, Victoria Institution), Dr. Arsh-E-Muneer (Dept of Urdu, Milli Al-Ameen College), Dr. Abdul Mannan, Dr. Umar Ghazali and Dr. Shaheen Perveen (Dept of Urdu,Shri Shikshayatan College). After the speech of President, Alpanal Naik thanked the chair. Besides teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, this seminar was made successful by the presence of Nasrullah Nasar, Mobarak Ali Mobarki, Dr. Farida Anwar, Sk. Zahoor Alam, Md. Fezauddin, Shabbir Alam, Gulshan Ara, Shaukat Ali, Ashraf Jafri and also attended by Proffessors and Students of different colleges etc. |
