SHRI SHIKSHAYATAN COLLEGE

The College recognises the achievements of students in academics by awarding prizes on the occasion of the College Foundation Day and Annual Function Day every year. The University of Calcutta First Class First rank holders were awarded with a Gold Medal, under the Annual System. The University rank holders (within 10^th rank) and College toppers are felicitated with silver medals and certificates of excellence. Students securing C.G.P.A. 7.0 & Above for Under-Graduation and C.G.P.A. 6.0 & Above (First Class) for Post-Graduation in English and Commerce, during the last two years are felicitated with medals and certificates of excellence. Book prizes are awarded to the departmental toppers (both S.G.P.A. and C.G.P.A. wise), for both Under-Graduation and Post-Graduation (only C.G.P.A.). The Under-Graduation Commerce toppers are awarded for Morning and Evening sections separately. The best All-Rounder from the College is awarded the most prestigious Saraswati Trophy award.
