CULTURAL COMMITTEE ACTIVITY REPORT
(JULY 2020 – DECEMBER 2021)
The Cultural Committee had organised a special web-lecture commemorating the bicentennial birth anniversary of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar which was held in January 29, 2021. The talk was delivered by Prof. Nandini Bhattacharya, Department of English and Culture Studies, Burdwan University. She spoke on “Marshall Sahib’s Munshi : Vidyasagar and the Fort William College”.
The Committee in collaboration with Charcha, Bengali Literary Society of the College had arranged for an online recorded cultural programme remembering the contribution of Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar which was uploaded in the College website on September 26, 2021.
