| DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES |
With a mission to attain holistic education, every year the B.Ed. students participate in several activities of Community Outreach Services Unit. Through the project ‘ Students as Partners’ students participate in spreading awareness and contributing for the students with special needs in collaboration with PKK, Bandel. Khelaghar, a residential school for socially and economically challenged children at Badu, Madhyamgram provides the B.Ed. trainees an opportunity to experience that it is possible to impart holistic education even through limited resources and opportunities. Through ‘Project Warm Clothes’ of Sharehouse Charitable Foundation, the students of the department reach out to the marginalized people of the remote villages of Sunderbans islands and Jungle Mahal, Purulia. |
