ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Minimum aggregate 60% and 65% marks in the Chemistry.Must have passed in English, Physics & Mathematics
SUBJECT COMBINATION: Physics Mathematics
Communicative English / Hindi / Bengali / Urdu are Offered as Major Indian Languages (MIL). Students are to Choose the Honours Subjects and Two Elective Subjects taking One Subject from Group – I and one subject from Group – II. Music may be Opted As A Non-Taught Subject.
Papers to be studied in Honours Subject [14-CC(Sem-I to Sem-VI), 4-DSE(Sem-V & Sem-VI), 2-SEC(Sem-III & Sem-IV)]. Papers to be studied in 2-Generic Elective Subjects (2 papers in each subject(Sem-I to Sem-IV). 2-AECC (Sem-I & Sem-II).

CHEMISTRY AS ELECTIVE

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : 45% and above in the subject AND 50% in aggregate. Must have passed in English

Events & Workshops

  • A Special Lecture was organized by Department of Chemistry on 30.03.16. Professor Mahua Basu, Assistant Professor, Environmental Science Department, St. Xavier’s College (B.Com Morning), Kolkata delivered a lecture on ‘Evaluation of Anti Alzheimer’s activity of naturally occurring coumarin’.
