These are organized and managed by students. Each student must be a member of at least one society.Students are encouraged to paticipate in environment protection activities under the guidance of teachers.
The college has one NSS unit. National Service Scheme (NSS) is a students’ empowerment programme through campus community interaction. The main purpose of NSS is to educate the students about social realties and to inculcate in them the spirit of social service and concern for the well-being of the community. Students are expected to voluntarily participate in the NSS programme.
LTS joins hands with educational Institutions and trains the students to develop their personality and leadership skills so that they become responsible leaders and committed citizens. The Movement is providing training to students leaders in three South Asian countries – India, Nepal and Bangladesh. The 9 major training programmes in the LTS way of training are Orientation days, weekly meetings, Leadership Camps, Social service schemes, study days, training days, workdays, projects, art of prayer. Shri Shikshayatan College is a member of LTS.
The nonprofit National Entrepreneurship Network was established in 2003 .NEN provides resources to academic institutions to build and manage Entrepreneurship Education infrastructure and programs for students. Shri Shikshayatan College has a student lead E Cell/Club.

The Annual Art and Cuisine Fair is held in the college building on the last working day prior to the Puja vacation. In this fair, food, game and handicraft stalls are put up by the students and staff of the college. The major part of the profit from the sales is contributed by the stall owners for social welfare activities.
Every year Blood Donation Camp is conducted in the college. Orientation programme before the blood donation camp is arranged to create awareness & stress on the importance of blood donation. Blood donation is conducted under medical supervision. Our college gets award for blood donation by the students.
