AWARDS & PRIZES

The College recognises the achievements of students in academics by awarding certificates and prizes on the occasion
of the Annual Function.

UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS
» The Best All Rounder from the College is awarded the most prestigious Saraswati Trophy award. A running best
all-rounder trophy, the Saraswati Trophy, is given to a student for her performance in curricular and extracurricular
activities in the college. A silver medal is given to the student in lieu of the running Saraswati Trophy.
» Students securing CGPA 7.0 and above for Under Graduation in the final Semester Examination and CGPA 6.0 and
above for Post Graduation (Commerce and English) are felicitated with medals and certificates.

» Silver medals are awarded to College toppers in the University Examination for Post Graduation in Commerce and
English.
» Book prizes are awarded to stream toppers (B.A/B.Sc., BBA, B.Com) on the basis of both SGPA and CGPA for Under
Graduation (Honours and General / Major and Minor) Honours and MDC.
» Book prizes are awarded to College toppers in the final Semester examination from the respective Honours
Departments on the basis of highest CGPA.

SPORTS
» Trophy for Best Individual Athlete. AWARDS - B.Ed
» Trophy for Best Team. » Prizes are awarded to students for general proficiency in studies
» Trophy for Individual Events. and for excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities.
» A Silver Medal is awarded to the Best All-Rounder of the session.
» All students with Grade ‘O’ & ‘A’ are given a Medal and Certificate
