All students\u2019 related activities are directed through Student\u2019s Council.<\/p>\n<p>The main focus of this committee is<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Election of Students Council Office Bearers and Class Representatives<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating and promoting participation of students in various inter college and intra college competition.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing all students related events like Fresher\u2019s , Farewell, etc<\/li>\n<li>Organizing seminars, webinars and celebration of Students week for the holistic development of students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>STUDENTS&#8217; COUNCIL ACTIVITY REPORT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Student\u2019s Council of College is an apolitical and elected students\u2019 body representing students across all programs. The students of the college play a proactive role in the institutional life of the college The Council organizes student related activities from time to time such as Teachers\u2019 Day, Fresher\u2019s Welcome, and Students\u2019 Farewell. The College Annual Fest \u2013 Srijan is organized exclusively by the Students\u2019 Council, where planning, designing and execution of this inter college event is done over a period of three to four months. The fest showcases the qualities of leadership, organization and initiative of our students, fostering team spirit and camaraderie. Students voluntarily take the lead in putting up stalls in the Annual Cuisine Fair, \u201cShree\u201d. The funds generated from this fair are generously donated for social cause.<\/p>\n<p>Departmental academic programmes like Memorial Lectures and Workshop, Seminars and Webinars are organized by the students under the guidance of the teachers. Students play an active role in Foundation Day, Annual Function, and Annual Sports Meet as participants and volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Class Representatives act as a liaison between teachers and students as well as between various committees regarding academic and other related matters. They are instrumental also in facilitating meaningful communication not only between different student groups but also across programmes.<\/p>\n<p>The Students are an important part of the Library Advisory Committee and also of the Women\u2019s Forum. Debsoc, Charcha, Imprint, Quidra\u00a0 are students societies where students engage with tremendous enthusiasm and creativity. They also contribute significantly as editorial members and authors in the different departmental journals.
